Although his hard scrabble Kentucky upbringing runs through his veins, Miami-based "Raylan Givens," portrayed by Timothy Olyphant, knows that the road in front of him is a lot shorter than the road behind. And the world around him has changed. Raylan is a walking anachronism. Oh, he is still good at gettin’ a bad dude, but Raylan might just be a little slower with only so many more rodeos left, and as a part-time father, has only so many more chances with a 15-year-old daughter with one foot out the door.

With an expansive list of diverse film and television credits, Emmy® Award nominated Timothy Olyphant is known for his poignant roles in both comedies and dramas.Most recently, Olyphant can be seen in Prime Video’s Daisy Jones &amp; The Six. Based on the book of the same name by Taylor Jenkins Reid, the story follows rock band “Daisy Jones &amp; The Six” through the 1970s in Los Angeles. Olyphant will also reprise his role as “U.S. Marshall Raylan Givens” in Justified: City Primeval for FX this year. The limited series is an extension of FX’s Justified, which had its final season in 2015. He is an executive producer on the show alongside Graham Yost. Olyphant earned an Emmy nomination for Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2011 for the role and was nominated for a Critics Choice Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series for his portrayal from 2011–2016. Later this year, Olyphant will star in Netflix’s action thriller Havoc. The film was directed by Gareth Evans and stars Tom Hardy and Luis Guzman.In 2019, Olyphant returned as “Seth Bullock” for Deadwood: The Movie. The film follows the 10-year reunions of the camp to celebrate South Dakota’s statehood from the original series that concluded in 2006. From 2004-2006, Olyphant starred as “Sheriff Seth Bullock” in HBO’s acclaimed drama Deadwood. The show was created by David Milch and was nominated for various Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award, TCA, DGA, WGA and Golden Globe® Awards. Additional film credits include Amsterdam, National Champions, The Starling, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Snowden, Mother’s Day, I Am Number Four, The Crazies, High Life, A Perfect Getaway, Live Free or Die Hard, The Girl Next Door, Meet Bill, Catch and Release, Dreamcatcher, This is Where I Leave You, Rockstar, Gone in 60 Seconds, A Man Apart, Scream 2 and A Life Less Ordinary.&nbsp;In television, Olyphant was also prominently seen in Noah Hawley’s hit FX series Fargo. He joined in 2019 for the fourth installment. The same year, The Mandalorian released on Disney+. The space Western television series created by Jon Favreau also stars Pedro Pascal and Rosario Dawson. In 2015, Olyphant returned to television in a recurring guest star role playing a fictionalized version of himself on FOX’s The Grinder starring Rob Lowe. He won a Critics Choice Award for Best Guest Actor/Actress in a Comedy Series. Additional television credits include The Office, Damages, The Mindy Project, The League, My Name is Earl, Sex and the City, The Book of Boba Fett, The Great North and Curb Your Enthusiasm.In 2014, Olyphant executive produced and starred in Netflix’s dark comedy Santa Clarita Diet created by Victor Fresco alongside Drew Barrymore. He and Barrymore played husband and wife realtors who lived in the Los Angeles Suburb of Santa Clarita and face a series of obstacles when “Sheila” (Barrymore) has a physical transformation into a zombie and starts craving human flesh. As “Joel” (Olyphant) and the family try to help her through her transformation, they have to deal with neighbors, cultural norms and get to the bottom of a potentially mythological mystery.In 2016, Olyphant returned to the theater in New York where he began his career 25 years earlier with Kenneth Lonergan’s Hold on to Me Darling at the Atlantic Theater Company.
