When Molly, portrayed by Michelle Williams, learns that her cancer has returned as Stage IV, she decides to leave her husband, Steve. Armed with dark humor, tenacity and the support of her best friend, Nikki, Molly embarks on a journey of self-determination and healing at the end of her life.

A five-time Academy Award®-nominated and two-time Golden Globe®-winning actress, Michelle Williams' performances have established her as one of Hollywood's most sought-after and respected actors.Williams earned her first Academy Award nomination for her performance as "Alma" in Ang Lee's Brokeback Mountain (2005). She also earned Independent Spirit Award, Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award, Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations for the role. Her performance garnered her a Tony® nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play. She made her Broadway debut as "Sally Bowles" in the Roundabout Theatre Company production of Cabaret.
