Lily Rabe stars as Misty Day in the third installment of American Horror Story: Coven.

Career Highlights

Tony® nominee Lily Rabe continues to shine on screen and stage.&nbsp;Rabe is one of four actors who has been part of the American Horror Story series from the beginning, playing a completely new character each season. Rabe played “Nora Montgomery” on the first season and “Sister Mary Eunice” on the second season. She was nominated for a 2013 Critics’ Choice Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie or Miniseries for her role in the second season. American Horror Story received two Emmy® nominations for Outstanding Miniseries or Movie, in 2012 and 2013, a 2012 Golden Globe® award for Best Television Series – Drama, and won an AFI Award for “TV Program of the Year.”&nbsp;On stage, Rabe most recently starred as the title character in Neil Labute’s adaptation of Miss Julie at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles. She made her Broadway debut in Robert Harling’s Steel Magnolias which garnered her a Drama Desk Award nomination. Rabe was nominated for a Drama League Award for her performance in Theresa Rebeck’s Seminar opposite Alan Rickman. Prior to that, she earned a Callaway Award, as well as nominations for a Tony, Drama Desk and Drama League Award, for her performance opposite Al Pacino in the Broadway production of The Merchant Of Venice, reprising her critically-acclaimed Central Park performance of “Portia” which began in the 2010 Shakespeare in the Park production of the play.&nbsp;Rabe has performed in several other Broadway plays including The American Plan (Manhattan Theatre Club) and Heartbreak House (Roundabout Theater Company) in which she received a Callaway Award and Outer Critics Circle nomination. Additionally, she has performed in various Off-Broadway and Regional plays including the 2012 Shakespeare in the Park production of As You Like It in which she received a Drama League nomination for her performance of “Rosalind,” A Doll’s House (Williamstown Theatre Festival), Crimes Of The Heart (Roundabout Theater Company, Williamstown Theatre Festival), Colder Than Here (MCC), and Proof, The Crazy Girl and Speaking Well Of The Dead (all for Gloucester Stage Company).&nbsp;Her film credits include All Good Things starring opposite Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst, Letters From The Big Man which premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, Weakness, Aftermath, What Just Happened, The Toe Tactic, A Crime, No Reservations, Mona Lisa Smile and Never Again.&nbsp;On television, Rabe was featured on The Good Wife, Nip/Tuck, Medium, and all three Law &amp; Orders, among others.&nbsp;Rabe graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Theatre.
